    A years-long authorized battle between actual property mogul Gary Barnett and two of his former enterprise companions could possibly be headed for its subsequent chapter. 

    The Extell Growth founder and chairman is taking his case with Yoel Weber and Yoel Leonorovitz to an appeals court docket.

    The battle goes again to 2022, when Weber and Leonorovitz sued Barnett, HP Inventory LLC — an entity solely owned by him — and Extell Growth for over $15 million in allegedly unpaid “charges for electrical contracting” carried out at 4 of Barnett’s initiatives.

    Barnett fired again by submitting counterclaims, arguing that since 2014 he owned a 33.3 % possession curiosity — as did every Weber and Leonorovitz — in Horsepower Electrical and Upkeep Corp, a contractor that carried out the works.

    Moreover, Barnett claimed that he owns one third — alongside Weber and Leonorovitz — of Pascack Entities, an organization that in 2016 bought six properties in Rockland County, New York.     In 2024 and 2025, the perimeters went backwards and forwards with Barnett attempting to strike Weber and Leonorovitz’s pleadings and failing to object or reply to plaintiffs’ subpoenas.

    On March 18 this 12 months, Choose Cenceria P. Edwards denied Barnett’s motions to strike the pleadings, noting that Weber and Leonorovitz had already handed over 87,000 paperwork, whereas Barnett’s authorized staff did not “present an affirmation of fine religion.”

    Barnett didn’t settle for the blow and appealed the choice in an April 28 submitting.

    Attorneys for either side, Extell, and Weber didn’t return requests for remark forward of publication.
